Mate you of all people should have been at the Perth AGM this year in person to hear what retention relevant information was passed on by our head technician Ting. He scoffed at the importance our SH's are holding to this particular metric. He said it isn't to be an outright figure as it is TUNEABLE to the clients needs.
The audience, which I must say was impressive with the intellect of questions asked and understood, all had a collective "Ahhhhhhh okay then, that makes sense" type of response.
If you have not noticed yet, no one from the AGM has your same concern, if it wasn't clarified there, then they would but it was addressed.
Vinneh, I enjoyed your old points of view, but when you get a bone, you are not wavering are you. All power to you buddy, but this bone is chewed, DP is not pulling your leg.
Ting expressively said, don't let RETENTION be a concern.
I would believe the fella with a life time of working in memory of all types, that our concerns are not that.
He was very relaxed about going to 20nm also.
