The problem with statements like "why we would get peter on board" and "That's why they brought in Mr Himes", is that people were saying that about and Barbie & Ken Hurley and ol' mate Liechtenstein Van Dan Hoak the great deal maker of over 9 trillion dollars.
Where are they all now? They took their performance shares and left. They have their reasons why and we will never really know.
Not saying you're wrong in your sentiment, only that a sentiment is just that.
This is an R&D company, thats unable to give much detail on whats going on becausde of alleged NDA's / restrictions placed by partners / etc. So we're all in the dark, no one knows anything factual and we can sit here speculating all day long until acquisition finally takes place.
Most of us are seeing the same thing over and over again.. and the people in this forum rotate though with new naive faces, some providing new and refreshing perspective on the technology (which is more in a broad sense and interesting to read), while others take over #'s job of posting obsessive up ramping, followed by obsessive down ramping, followed by selling and disappearing.
Why is the industry (IEEE) talking about this inferior tech in 10 days time, instead of 4DS's wizbang state of the art technology? Curious... but I'm assuming its probably the same reason that acquisition talks aren't happening yet. More information about a competing tech in a headline alone than 5 years of ASX announcements.
