It is hard to understand why Vodafone would want to exit, given their biggest asset is a widespread network throughout the world. Unless they want to create a franchise way of doing it, thus reducing their capital investments.
With the state of Vodafone globally, I was looking forward to David Teoh turning Vodafone Australia in to the global head of the empire, similar to Hudsons coffee. That is less likely now unless Hutchison decides to take over the lot. Interesting times ahead.
