It appears drugs in the US will be required to be sold at the same price as the lowest price in other countries. I think the plan was to sell Spontan or Roxus in the US at the same price as in Australia so that shouldn't be an issue. It also sounds like it might be aimed at higher priced drugs sold through Medicare. Also not an issue for LTP because of the low price per dose and I haven't heard of any plan to sell through medicare, medicade, etc.. There is still uncertainty in it so as you say, it probably does explain today's selling regardless of whether or not it will affect LTP.
