The building where nearmap was located will be demolished as part of the APDG block redevelopment. Not immediately, but within a couple of years.
It is quite possible that they were aware of this and have been keeping an eye out for a new office.
If they didn't relocate now, they would have to have done so within the next couple of years. Add to that the reasons given by a few posters above, this looks like something we don't need to get too excited about.
