21.7m MGV crossed in this morning session...which brings aggregate activity in MGV stock to 300m shares since hostilities commenced . That not a single substantial shareholder notice has been lodged is passing strange .
I must say acceptances over the past week have been slow but inexorable.
I suspect that there is a tussle between RMS management and the loose, unassociated?!? holders of MGV - the arb traders- over the possibility of improving the cash consideration of the offer. Ramelius with 41.7% have the advantage ..a considerable one at that.
Do they fold with more cash, do they go unconditional now, do they tough it out 'by extending and extending again and, scarier still for the arb traders, choose to walk away if they dont get to 50.1% by 1 September?
We're at a critical juncture.
