That article was written in one of the best summers we've had for renewables. Mild weather, good sunshine = lower prices. However, if you stretched it out over longer term such as a year. What I can see is that SA power price is still slightly higher than most states.
Look at March 2021 figures. SA's average RRP was actually the highest for the month.
