SP is really driven on speculative views imo. IOP has been steadily increasing until this week when it slipped back and then regained its losses. I suspect some buyers viewed it as a possible peaking before slipping back below 100 mark.
So far so good we seemed to have kicked above $US111 today so may see a further boost between now and year end. Fingers crossed.
I’m betting on a smaller dividend in March. They will have sales in the 6 months but also have a view on sales / cashflow from Q1. After all, they are sitting on a mountain of cash and it will really come down to how much their major shareholders need the money to pay down debt or fund other investments.
