If RRL's hedges are not currently being used to guarantee any loan, and if there is confidence that the POG is going to rise, then the most profitable thing to do would be to borrow money now at current low interest rates, then buy bullion and get rid of all the hedges immediately. (By the way, just think of all the bullion RRL could have bought with what they spent on Tropicana.)
In other words, I agree with those who recommend just buying gold instead of RRL.
