I think you now have it. Tropicana's current AISC is high because of the development of the open pit that is being under taken. However, that development will be completed soon and so the rewards from the investment into it will follow. The Tropicana purchase reports from RRL included both the current AISC and the next year's AISC for Tropicana. I consider it appropriate to use the next year's figure when valuing RRL
