the thing i noted upon further reading is that this guy is pretty much exclusively retail - I guess Carroll was as well, but interesting they went for another one, especially given he was a year in the job and the performance of the place tanked....
he was brought in as part of the transformation plan and now is one his way out "as a part of the continued transformation".....
I don't read that as Woolies being devastated he left....
