Token amount but likely prudent as a first step given the current modest daily turnover. It seems they might actually be turning the zombie buyback into a genuine buyback (Ord Minnett appointed in this notice) in which case I'm hoping to see regular buyback notices.
If management can introduce some genuine capital management on behalf of holders we might have something to look forward to in terms of its appeal as an LIC, improvement in liquidity and some closing of the NTA gap.
If they get serious with the buyback ($3m is token) then at this time, with this discount to NTA and in this market I agree this is a better use of Capital than larger dividends. I just wish the buyback was more significant.
