This shouldn’t be a significant announcement. However, since the Australian Government have changed their sentiment to oil/gas, normal regulatory procedures like suspensions and extensions are absurdly long. They are becoming massive impediments to oil/gas companies. They need to legislate a maximum time frame to make these decisions, waiting many months or sometimes years is unacceptable.

Look at PEP-11 for example the Government are beside themselves trying to make a decision on that one. A problem of their own making.
