Did I read that our new CEO was a McKinsey management consultant specialising in corporate strategy in the health industry and was actively involved in developing the new strategy. Perhaps it is cheaper to put him in as CEO rather than pay him as a consultant. You were right to question those fees - they are incredibly high for this size company. That equates to a senior consultant at $10k per day and an associate at $5k per day, both for 100 days. That’s some strategy.
