I completely agree. For me this is very much a wait and see. The new direction that Stephen has steered the company towards is very streamlined. He has trimmed the fat and is targeting the low hanging fruit!
Take this slide from the latest quarterly for example. The ophthalmology route has lower cost, simpler trial design and has potential for Orphan Drug Designation!
If the company can navigate through these tricky waters and find themselves with a completed phase I trial. Big pharma would be very interested in a take over given the lucrative opportunities in Neurological diseases.
