re: Ann: FGE: Changes to Forge Group Board of... interesting AFR article this week (think it was Tuesday's edition).
A few points I noted from the article
- Forge were only aware of Clough wanting to sell over the weekend - possible falling out?
- Clough didn't see Forge as a Strategic investment since late last year
- Already seem to be advanced in looking at a few acquisition options (possibly reason for such a quick sale)
- targeting acquisitions most likely in Queensland
I think we are likely to hear something in the next 2 weeks.
At the end of the day Clough made approx 300% return on the Forge investment in a couple of years so that was great move either way
