Well that's come out of left field. On one hand it's a significant blow as Alfie had extensive connections throughout the industry along with some skin in the game. His network would be hard to replace.
On the other hand, as you have all previously mentioned, said network/connections will already be well aware of Nanollose and their tech so that is somewhat safe. However without Alfie at the helm some of these coy’s may be reluctant to proceed.
Likewise the share price has only recently turned after having suffered a steady decline since listing (not to take anything away from his management but it’s clear as daylight). Similarly AG’s holding in NC6 pales in comparison to Wayne Best or Winton Willesee so that’s a positive as we shouldn't see the sp crushed by director selling.
Equally NC6’s Tech has been considerably de-risked and they’ve since expanded their scope shifting into the nonwoven sector too which will be indifferent as to whom is behind the wheel whether it be AG or someone else, providing they can execute.
Ideally I would like to see a new CEO hired and a strengthening of the board too. Allow WB to remain where he is. This will probably sell-off tomorrow.
