Agree. If you read Alfie's bio, he's a bit of a world traveller and has a family. Australia is not home. He and his family came here in 2016 so it was for the Nanollose job. Personal reasons could range from anything from ill-health through to him and/or his family being sick of being stuck in Australia. The fact he is staying on for the transition says his departure is as stated. He has made a great contribution to NC6, but the foundations were there before he came and the company's future plans will continue to be executed. With CelluAir added to the mix last month, the future is still bright.
