Interestingly, I googled to see if Rio has farmed into any other explorers ground to explore for Lithium. It turns out that yes they have, they farmed into Twenty Seven Co (now called Everest Metals Corporation, EMC) Rover Project near Sandstone in WA in October 2022. They commenced a small drill program in July 2023 and drill results have not been released yet (I suspect that the results are poor or average since there is still no release from drilling done in July). The farm in gives Rio 80% for total expenditure of $5 million at Rover. This is not nearly as favourable as CHR's farm in terms of 75% for expenditure of $40 million - perhaps this is an indication that CHR's ground is much more promising, I'm not sure.

Anyway, judging by the timelines above CHR shareholders will likely require some patience as it appears that Rio doesn't exactly do things at breakneck speed LOL. Having said this, under the farm-in CHR will be managing the exploration for the first 12 months (and Rio is obliged to spend a minimum of $3 million in the first 12 months), so hopefully this will keep things moving.
