I recently, utilised RNT's platform to rent out our investment property. During that process we were bombarded by real estate agents (as they get access to our contact details through RNT which is where they seem to make their small revenues) and collectively they all suggested advertising our property for less rent than what we were chasing minus there 7.5% fees. Perhaps luck was a factor, but we were able to find a decent tenant at a premium to their suggested prices and it was free through RNT.

The traditional rental model through real estate agents imo is flawed and highlights how RNT is dictated to by a monopoly market in Australia. In comparison, PCH in the US have a competitive playing field and importantly a $175B rental market.
