The TAFTA decision has already been made, its just KCN have asked it be deferred until they reach an agreement with Thai govt (after which KCN drops TAFTA claim), so we are guessing its say $500m - $1b if KCN abandoned Chatree
My understanding is that Oz govt could pursue Thai assets in US/Europe in unlikely scenario Thailand didnt pay up
We will find out in 1-2 years whether we wished they had of left Thailand and taken the TAFTA settlement. Its just not looking good, is it, with all these delays, but hopefully they will surprise us in a few months
