but it’s not just an algo, it’s short sellers who are sophisticated investors and traders and they don’t short unless they detect fundamental weakness in the company. In this case it can only be finance or a coordinated effort to pick up cheap shares which again is risky unless you detect short term or long term problems with the company.
kcn sent me an email today saying they were aware of the short position and are looking into it. I won’t hold my breadth.
