That's not true about shorters. The mere fact that they borrow shares without owning them leads to an imbalance in the market. If they borrow 20 million shares for example and sell them then KCN ends up with a presumptive share register of 279 million , not 257 million. If they are dumped on the market one can guarantee the price will go down. The fundamentals for this stock have not been this good since 2017.
