@doncamilo, I haven't highlighted the fact that the delegation from EU negotiating the FT agreement with Thailand visited Thailand recently. I am sure the concurrent senate elections (presently marred in controversy and complaints of fraud) would have been a reason the EU delegation may have kept a low profile while in country.
How the Thai government would entertain an EU delegation encouraging them to sign up to a FTA and concurrently be in dispute with Australia with an existing FTA is mind boggling to me. Surely it is in Thailand's best interests to sweep away the Liabilities of the past and build a better future. Bring out the BIG broom.
