I think the point i'm trying to make this Anzac Day & Birthday of my deceased father is the following point..
Lest we forget the sacrifices the old people made in the hard days, the day's of nothing, the day's of working from 6.0 am to 6 pm for $20 to feed there children & get us to today ...
Maybe that's why today i feel especially sick thinking we pay our CEO $2,000 a day for him to think it's ok to have a nice trip to his Women in Mining Conference during the working week for a few days; " Come say HI !" & i can hear My Father rolling in his grave if shareholders are paying for the return flights and 2 nights Accommodation & 2 day's salary if this personal non-essential trip isn't taken from annual leave entitlements , considering it has nothing to do with earning Revenue , Reducing AISC or the operations of our Company...
Young people these day's have no idea about sacrifice..
I feel sick today thinking about all these bloody conferences again in 2023 & Miami & Canada recently whist plant #1 was an 8 month delayed $hitshow...
Thinking of all these entitled young people today sitting on asses drinking coffee and doing $uck all at conferences gives me a little grief today to be honest........ when compared to how hard our fathers had to work for $20 a day.
I'll just go take my medication...
