Kingsgate seemed to be in the right spot picking up the ex-Newcrest staff and have also picked up a very good operator from Regis.
Might have just been fortunate with the Newmont takeover but KCN have taken advantage of it and have hired very experienced people.
It seems to me that this is the reason for the remodeled pit and the slightly slow path to the higher-grade ore. In the foreseeable future it should really pay dividends by being a lot more efficient.
Combine that with the new mining equipment and I am hoping it will be a lot lower cost and a very slick operation.
Time will tell.
