Just wondering if you've ever lived or done business in Thailand? Foreigners aren't allowed to even own land in Thailand. This is the only country in Asia that has never been controlled by a foreign power, and after having lived in and visited Thailand many times over the last fifty years, I consider that our management have done an incredible job of restarting the mine and keeping it in the shareholders hands.
On my first visit to Bangkok in 1975, the military were controlling anti American protesters ,four hundred metres down the street from the hotel where i was staying, with live rifle fire. Many dozens of students died that day
This is Thailand, not Australia,a country of strong independent people who don't take kindly to being controlled by outsiders.
