Who knows how much of it is bull but the announcement seems to indicate he is pursuing other interests which could indicate he already has something lined up.
Wrt other board members walking i prefer to think the reason Richard is departing is because the other board members want to stay put and actually get a return, especially dr hockings, who has a massive commitment and would be taking a massive hit if he dumped. I get the feeling major holders including board members may have got frustrated with the current structure and pushed for some change to get someone in who will progress the commercial side faster. As a result maybe richard didnt want to take an apparent backward step in a company he has always been a major player in.
Todays close at least to me is stunning and at least at this point in time seems to reflect that holders believe it is not a bad thing.
