Definitely agree with your sentiment on AQZ, and nice to see an upgrade to price target from Morgans', for what its worth. Understandable also if div. investors are not keen at this stage to jump aboard, though for mine, happy for management to pay down debt, and/or use profit for planned expansion of staff, training, and relocation and service costs associated with the new E190's.
Curious to know if the slippage on the rollout schedule would be having much of an impact on revenue? More than likely difficult to determine, as most of the new craft becoming airworthy would have been waiting for utilisation from ad-hoc charter enquiries/contracts.
I had thought Alan Joyce may have been a little more circumspect in his ramp-up of operations at Qantas, given there is still a deal of uncertainty re. domestic travel and border policies, which would have played into the hands of AQZ, but management here have been doing a good job, and appear to have their finger on the pulse, so happy to back them.
