It is sitting idle because ASM will not ramp up the KMP until we have offtakes, the question you and everyone should be asking is , why do we not have offtakes?
- Maybe the feedstock was an issue for a potential client, the cap raise now gives us the cash to buy feedstock and in turn complete an offtake agreement? This one makes the most sense for me, as it was only very recently ASM stated they will only ramp up the KMP once we have offtakes, there is big risk here though for potential customers, the KMP is not even proven at scale yet! - Maybe the Chinese are putting pressure on their customers to continue to buy rare earth metals from only them?
ASM have had long enough to sign up offtakes from the KMP, we are not even asking for a premium price either just the market rate i believe!
