Interesting to see in this article that the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of Korea has signed an agreement with its Vietnamese counterpart, the Ministry of Industry and Trade! This governmental cooperation goes hand in hand with the company level agreement between ASM and VTRE you would think.
I was a bit sceptical of the relevance of the recently announced ASM-VTRE relationship given the relatively low-tech operations of VTRE but perhaps this government deal means that VTRE can be funded/supported in lifting its game in regard to scale, technology and even ESG to become a true player in a non-China ESG supply chain?? At least until Dubbo comes on line.
