After listening to the AGM my take was it was a pretty straight talking update on where and how things are tracking. The new COO laid out the business strategy and status very well. In summary:
They are actively advancing the commercialisation of the tech they know works and can be sold, licenced, whatever.
They have shelved what either doesn't work or won't yet be taken up by the market.
They have established a high production capacity for BNNT and can now sell it cheaper than anyone else.
They searched the world for a BNNT sales executive and will soon announce the appointment... now they can confidently supply the stuff.
Their various metals BNNT composites projects are on track and will deliver.
The White Graphene project looms as the next big thing and adds to the nanomaterial offering with even faster to-market opportunities.
LiS will be a hugh customer of BNNT once it begins making batteries through OEM'S.
They have generally cleaned things up, added some great staff, have plenty of cash for now and know exactly what they are doing.
I think that once they take the next steps and land a few decent sales, the market will like it and the SP should start heading upwards. There is no doubt they are holding and developing some very valuable technology, and for now, this is the basis of the value of this company. The current SP does not reflect this value, so there appears some intrinsic upside here. But most tech stocks at equivalent stages are languishing on the bourse.
I'm a holder, and on any decent announcement, I'll be back pushing the BUY button faster than anyone else.... I hope.
