I emailed a few questions to be answered at the IMU-Azer-Cel webinar and they all got answered first. Wanted to be confirmed that this IMU deal actually was a CHM deal, the experts are all going along very well and that IMU pays the bills while taking advantage of the deal too.
This has been the work of our CEO, JC, the CD19 "guru". It will benefit CHM too, production of the needed "off the shelf" cells is now secured. Plus Precision, the licence seller, focusing now 100% on gene editing which is so vital for the reprogramming of the cells.
The market neither here nor at IMU got any idea what a huge deal that is. The bargain price is one thing, securing the " hardware " is much more important, a quantum leap over all the potential competitors who have or will trying their luck in the CD19 / 17 space.
That facility will play a big role too for the GMB CAR-T, the CoH scientists aren't sleeping, they are continuing to improve the asset while CHM is now taking the trials US wide.
We are on a winner here, just takes still a bit of time.
