I too am interested in the reason behind MS share sale. WIll find out in due course.
Think you will find there has not been mention of a capital raising for Kanyika. Spoke with Company many months ago and as per updates there has never been the intention to capital raise via share issue. There has always been negotiations behind the scenes with Chinese.
To capital raise via equity would require ECE to invest more funds to maintain their % shareholding. Not sure they would want to do that if they can source the financing elsewhere.
I would not assume for Kanyika a share issue for cap raising is on the cards at present.
IF they split the company, a share issue cap raising for the new entity would be a possiblity though.
