    Yes, Australia has molybdenum production, primarily from the Cadia mine in New South Wales. Operated by Newmont Corporation, Cadia is currently the only active molybdenum-producing mine in the country. In recognition of its responsible production practices, Cadia has been awarded The Molybdenum Mark. NEWMONT.COMIn 2020, Newcrest Mining (now part of Newmont) initiated the construction of Australia's first molybdenum plant at Cadia, marking a significant development in the nation's molybdenum production capabilities.
    NEWCREST.COMAdditionally, there are several molybdenum projects under development across Australia:Molyhil Project: Located 220 km from Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, this project is owned and operated by Thor Mining.
    MINING-TECHNOLOGY.COMKalkaroo Project: Situated in South Australia, this project is managed by Havilah Resources.
