In this current situation a consolidation would make it worse as the market interprets that as desperation to do more raisings. Look what Hopper's anns at IMU has achieved - more sp destruction.
If anyone is interested in any asset they won't care about shares on issue. What difference would it make to them to pay the amount of x-dollars divided by 1b or 10b. It is just a myth or an excuse to do a SC.
Positive news, such as a deal, first. Then when the sp increases do a SC. Doing it the other way around and you get what you got at IMU. All of those who are around for years have warned not to do it and yet, the MAN did it with the expected result.
A SC at this stage at 1:10 or 1:100 and in a blink of an eye the sp would be back sub 1c. Seen that too many times. Change the fundamentals first, then consolidate - simple basic business rule and yet, the MAN violated it at IMU and like they say in sport "... we got the result!"
