    the share based payments are primarily for options, so they director will have to stump up cash to participate, and, get the SP moving to realise any value.

    I call this an incentive plan to align everyone's interests...

    Employee benefits expense is primarily for the Board, WHICH IS HIGH CALIBRE. Shows that they are actually not squandering money on other staff unnecessarily.

    Yes you could spend less and get a rubbish board... and not incentivise...

    Id much rather pay up for a strong board with SP increase alignment.

    Re progress, most dont understand that biotech space is a regulatory nightmare. Even the most cashed up companies have to jump through the hoops, and commit the time to do prelim studies etc etc before going to trials...

    This is why small cap biotechs present many trading opportunities, as people don't have the patience to see it through.
