Or perhaps still developing a workable product. I suspect cost of producing and utilising the amount of BNNT they actually need may also be prohibitive. Does the recent defence force contract stipulate the material/type of vest they are contracted to? Perhaps they DO have a workable product and its still developed or as part of this contract, they have an agreement to test new products (and keep it a national secret). Point being we don't know the specifics of the contract or the current development pipeline (or do we???).
