You definitely have valid points.
My WAM holding is now one of my largest thanks to CIE.
I'm going to hold for now though as I too are an income seeking self funded with no gov handout.
I remember the day Myer floated and it fell on the day and continued falling ever since.
Never understood why you would participate in a float to come out on day1 and sell at a loss.
In hindsight they were the smart one's.
I've been moving funds into unlisted property as I've had a gutfull of these markets.
