Having read through the comments here for the last three months, I'm completely confused. I've consistently held and added for the last three or more years. I understand that these projects take a long time, and you have to be willing to hold for a long time to get big returns. I'm currently down 63% though, when all around us Palantir is 10xing in two years, lemonade just 3xd in a few months... There is huge opportunity cost with being early in commodity investments, and it hardly seems worth it. There is such opacity with these companies. I was similarly loyal to Blackstone Minerals, but I've just sold at a 50% loss now their previously seemingly amazing Vietnamese nickel refinery hasn't done anything for them or shareholders and they're now going to start drilling a porphyry in the Philippines. It's almost comical, the mismatch between what CEOs say and what actually happens in reality.
