To be fair, the announcement didn't come from Hills. It was issued by the maker of the device who, obviously unaware of the diminution of Hills' standing, has cited the appointment of Hills as distributor as a positive development (for them - the maker).

The simple fact that they couldn't get Hills' name correct (it's Hills Limited, not Hills Industries) says quite a lot about the overall professionalism and likelihood that this deal represents any real benefit to Hills (or anyone else, really).
