I reckon it's crap that directors only have to declare the directorships they've held in the last three years. It should be 10 to 20 years! Let their "bad luck" follow them for much of the rest of their career so that prospective investors in new companies will smell their stench!
I had shares in a company that a director helped run into the ground, although he did jump before the end. Three years later he founded and listed a new company and on his bio he was promoting himself as having prior experience as a director in other companies in a similar industry!
