Market cap measures what a company is worth on the open market, as well as the market's perception of its future prospects, because it reflects what investors are willing to pay for its stock.
Some amateurs here might think that to justify a $1billion market cap a company would have to be making close to that in profit.
The fact of the matter is that even though Afterpays revenue was up last year they made a loss of nearly $160 million. Anyone care to explain their $34 billion market cap?
If CRO keep making deals like the previous 2 that were announced and the market starts to see some potential for global expansion then the skys the limit I guess.
