Not putting fear into anything bud......simply saying this form of lending is very challenging from an Operational point of view.
Greensill did not collapse simply because it could not secure Insurance. No one runs a business that is totally reliant on Insurance. Poor underwriting practices like funding invoices for work not even started is going to get anyone in trouble. It is the underwriting decisions that will make Credit Insurance companies change their appetite for the risk.
This was their problem but I am sure will not be a problem for CRO.
