Applications to the resource sector is exciting, but I am somewhat sceptical as to the prospects for success. In order for AI to work well, you need lots of example data to feed into the system. Unfortunately, the nature of mineral discoveries is that they are highly anomalous and highly unusual which appears to be inherently inconsistent with the proposed modelling structure. But would be delighted to see it work successfully.
