Speaking of traditions. This traditional sampling technique will turn up bugger-all. It has been traditionally applied by Pancon, MIMEX, Normandy, Goldfields and Mt Leyshon, in my direct experience. And has traditionally returned about the same as the contents of Coles Traditional Christmas Bonbons.

However, if my memory is not faded by too many Christmases, I do remember that my mate from Pancon had a fieldy, a local, who grew The World’s Finest Reefer in the headwaters of a creek draining into the Burdekin that looks to be just inside CTO’s tenure.

Maybe The Chaps will locate aforementioned reefer in their diligent and intrepid traverses, battling the might of nature and after a few cheeky bush billies, have some genuine geological revelations.

But I doubt it.
