If Liongold buy more than 20% of CTO shares, this triggers certain ASX requirements re takeovers. My gut feeling is that Liongold wants more management control not a takeover. Any CTO improvement means a higher share price. Pershaps they want a closer look at CTO potential before a takeover while the share price is low. Liongold are gambling big time and must reckon it is worthwhile. Receivership would be a disaster for them. Liongold must believe the gold is there somewhere.
