I just looked at the Top 20 Shareholders to see who is on the register.
42% is held by the Top 20 but 10% of it is a Computershare Clearing House transaction - whether they belong to Silvercorp who knows. There was strong volume in the lead up to the announcement, it could be held by those who don't want you to know they bought them just before Trading Halt. Who knows?
Such is the transparency of the ASX.
Not sure what % is required to get the deal over the line, but they need to Top 20++ for this to happen. That is a stretch given most shareholders are underwater.
Things start to get serious when Lodgement of scheme booklet (including notice of meeting) with ASX and ASIC and made available to Celsius shareholders (mid to late August). If they get a mining licence before then, does Silvercorp make a new offer? Somewhat unclear.
