Yep, that have only said this extra trial is for practical reasons. But it's likely they are quietly hoping they will be able to spike the plasma concentrations higher.
Even then, we need plasma concentrations to remain elevated (say 500-1000ppm) for 20-60 minutes for most ESKAPE pathogens.
I hope the company is already quietly working away on a next generation 327. Maybe one that is bound to a large molecule or protein to hold it in the plasma for longer.
I don't appreciate the company brushing this off and not addressing it with us. Same with the burns trial which has been running for years - WTF guys!?
