To be honest, I don't doubt that and I don't blame him at all for these announcements. I'm sure he is not the one writing them as this is well below his paygrade. But he is in charge of the guy who does write them so it's his responsibility to make sure someone better is put in charge of this very important job. Even if it costs them 80k a year to hire an 'announcement specialist', it will easily pay for itself and then some as we have all seen the difference a well-written announcement can make to a company's share price.
